KEYCALCIUM

Consortium of Calcium Solubilising Bacteria

KEYCALCIUM is a biologically active formulation containing naturally occurring Calcium Solubilising Bacteria (CSB). These beneficial microbes increase the availability of insoluble calcium in soil by producing organic acids and chelating compounds, improving calcium uptake by plants. The formulation helps maintain soil fertility and supports healthy plant growth through balanced nutrient absorption.

Features: Improves calcium nutrition even in low-calcium or high pH soils. Promotes root and shoot development by improving cell wall strength. Enhances soil microbial activity and nutrient cycling. Compatible with most biofertilizers and organic inputs. Environment-friendly and residue-free biological solution.

Target Crops: Fruit Crops: Pomegranate, Grapes, Banana, Citrus, Mango. Vegetables: Tomato, Brinjal, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Okra, Chilli. Field Crops: Cotton, Groundnut, Sugarcane, Soybean, Maize, Paddy. Plantation Crops: Tea, Coffee, Cardamom, Spices.

Benefits

  • Improves flowering, fruit set and crop quality. Prevents calcium deficiency symptoms such as fruit cracking, blossom end rot, tip burn and weak root growth. Enhances soil structure, porosity and moisture retention. Supports phosphate and potash solubilising microbes through synergistic action. Target Soils: Calcareous soils with poor calcium availability. Acidic or lateritic soils with calcium fixation. Soils with high phosphate or carbonate content reducing calcium solubility. Light-textured and degraded soils with low microbial activity.

Dose

Soil Application: 1–2 Litres/Acre mixed with 100–200 kg well-decomposed FYM or compost and applied near the root zone. Use during sowing, transplanting or early growth stages. Drip Irrigation (Fertigation): 1 Litre/Acre through drip every 15–20 days depending on crop stage. Drenching: 50–100 ml in 200 litres of water and apply around the root zone. Seed/Root Dip Treatment: Mix 50 ml per litre of water and dip seedlings or planting material for 15–20 minutes before transplanting.
