Fruit fly outbreak is increasing in various horticultural crops like Mango, Orange, Guava, Pomegranate, Fig etc. and cucurbits.
It is not advisable to use chemicals at the maturity stage of fruits.

In this, traps lure of Bactrocera cucurbitae are available for cucurbitaceous crops and Bactrocera dorsalis for control of fruit flies on fruit crops.
Fix 8-10 traps per acre in the field with specified lures in the crops. Remove catched insects periodically and destroy so that new adults are again caught in traps. Change the lures after 60 days.
